Sentralen offers venues for all types of events; concerts, theatre and dance performances, conferences and seminars, debates, panel discussions, holiday and summer parties, weddings, as well as trade fairs and book launches.

We offer flexible solutions in all our venues and have extensive experience with planning and execution of a wide range of events, as well as varied internal expertise in digital communication, technology, catering, hosting and more.

We can also host rehearsals for professional performers in music, acting and dance. 

Our meeting rooms can be booked on an hourly or daily basis, and are equipped with state-of-the-art equipment for video meetings.

The technical equipment in The Crown Room is suitable for smaller conferences, seminars and product launches, as well as weddings, intimate concerts without amplified sound and parties.

Do you dream of a place with an urban, unadulterated metropolitan atmosphere and a view over the roofs of Oslo's Kvadraturen? Welcome to Sentralen’s new roof terrace! On the upper part of the terrace you will find city’s most delightful outdoor restaurant, Mynt. The lower part of the roof terrace, Kron, can be booked for separate, closed events.

Kron is located just outside of Kronesalen and can be booked together with this venue - or separately. Well-preserved historical building details give the roof terrace a cozy atmosphere whether it be day, evening or night. A glass wall lets you look down the entire six floors of the building, all the way down to Vinterhagen. Kron is pleasantly furnished with outdoor furniture, lush plants and strings lights that glow discretely in the evening. Here you can experience an unspoilt, courtyard-like atmosphere with a view of the urban jungle!

Forstanderskapssalen kan brukes til ulike forestillinger og fremvisninger, som dans, teater og kampsport.
Forstanderskapssalen har lydsluser som forhindrer lydlekkasje ut av salen.
Forstanderskapssalen er den perfekte salen for akustisk konsert, og er utstyrt med et Steinway C-flygel.
Det er plass til 140 sittende mennesker i Forstanderskapssalen.
Forstanderskapssalen er en ærverdig sal som passer til ulike selskaper som bryllup, jubileumsmiddag og julebord.

We have recently installed sound barriers in the Board of Trustees’ Board Room to reduce sound leakage from the hall. Please note that these do not appear in all images.

Forstanderskapssalen is on the 3rd floor of Sentralen, and is a favourite with many of our visitors. With its pleasant acoustics, beautiful walls with classic wood carving and its elegant chandeliers, Forstanderskapssalen is a venue that feels both intimate and open. This distinguished room is perfect for concerts, weddings, parties, performances and medium-sized seminars and conferences. The adjacent venues are suitable for dividing participants into groups, mingling and catering.

At the foot of the stairway that winds up the floors of Sentralen you will find a bar and a small stage for your event. Vinterhagen can be booked free of charge for smaller events by agreement. Note that this is an open venue and it is therefore not possible to arrange closed parties or events with ticket sales. If you are planing an open event where anyone is welcome to participate, Vinterhagen is the place for you!

Gullbaren ligger i tredje etasje, med adgang fra marmortrappen

A cocktail bar of the old school, Gullbaren, is located on the third floor of Sentralen. Furnished with historical details, this venue is a tribute to the former bank directors who once managed the building. Follow the marble staircase up to the third floor and enter into a completely different epoch! Centuries-old historical finds decorate the shelves and rustic walls. You can also have a look at the original bank vault located nearby.

Gullbaren is located on the third floor of Sentralen, at the top of the magnificent marble staircase. Its decor is a tribute to the former bank directors at Christiania Sparebank.

Here you can record podcasts, sound check the band before it goes on the road, create a small club scene, make recordings and stream live. The well-equipped studios are located on the lower floor of Sentralen, under the former bank vault. A unique venue where the historic interior has been carefully preserved with the addition of the new. Here you can make professional recordings, with access to a control room, assuring top quality in both sound and image.
