SentralenMat AS, part of EIK & Friends, provides all food and beverages for all events hosted here at Sentralen.
They can provide catering tailored to the different types of events you can host here:
- breakfast meetings,
- conferences, seminars, and similar daytime events
- dinners, parties, Christmas parties, and summer parties
- private events such as confirmations, christenings, or naming ceremonies
- meetings
- public events such as concerts and theater performances
Menus change with the seasons
All of SentralenMat's menus change with the seasons. They are based on the vegetables and ingredients available in season.
In SentralenMat's kitchen, the chefs use all parts of the ingredients to avoid food waste.
SentralenMat collaborates with quality suppliers such as Strøm-Larsen, Matcompaniet, and Domstein.
All catering is prepared here at Sentralen
In the basement here at Sentralen, we have a large main kitchen.
All the food served here in the building is produced there.
This applies to catering for events, but also to the food sold at Sentralen Kafe, Restaurant Hitchhiker, and on the Rooftop Terrace at Sentralen.
Choose catering from the event menu
If you don't choose a package price, this is the menu you can use to order catering for your event.
If your event has 20 participants/attendees or more, you can order catering from the event menu.
This menu includes:
- Coffee and mineral water
- Breakfast and pastries
- Lunch
- Dinners
- Snacks
- Finger food
- Late-night snacks
We also have event menus tailored to participants or the audience, such as children and young people.
In addition, we have menus tailored to our rental schemes: Sentralen UNG and Sentralen MINT.

We have several package prices that include catering.
Together with SentralenMat, we have put together package prices that include:
- room rental
- setup of furniture and other venue needs
- projector
- screen
- two microphones
- and catering tailored to the time of day and the event's duration.
You pay a price per person that includes what you need.
Some package prices include more, such as staffing, additional technical equipment, technical personnel, staffed cloakroom, and staffed bar.
Catering times are adapted to the event program and the breaks you schedule in the itinerary.
SentralenMat collaborates closely with the producers here at Sentralen when planning the catering, ensuring everything is ready and delivered on time and to the correct venue.

This is the breakfast package
The breakfast package is for events that finish before 10:00 AM.
Events using this package price are typically breakfast meetings and seminars.
The breakfast meeting catering includes coffee and tea, croissants with cheese and ham, and sliced fruit.
Vegetarian and vegan options are available.

This is the day package
If your event is held during the day, you can choose the day package.
Examples of events that use this package price are:
- conferences
- seminars
- workshops
This package includes coffee, tea, fruit, croissants, pastries, and lunch.
Vegetarian and vegan options are available, and the kitchen can accommodate allergies.
This is our most popular package price.
This is the dinner package
When you rent a venue for an evening event, you can choose a package price that includes dinner.
Examples of events that use this package price are:
- Christmas parties
- dinners
- birthday celebrations
For dinner, you can choose between three different three-course menus and a tapas menu. You select one common menu for the entire party.
All menus have vegetarian and vegan options, and the kitchen can accommodate allergies.
This is the day and evening package
If you wish to host an event that lasts all day, we also have a package price for this.
Events that use this package include, for example:
- full-day conferences that conclude with dinner
The catering includes coffee and tea, breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
For dinner menus, you can choose between three different three-course menus and a tapas menu. You select one shared menu for the entire group.
All menus have vegetarian and vegan options, and the kitchen can accommodate allergies.
These are our three meeting packages
You can order the meeting packages for the meeting rooms on the third floor, meeting room 400, and the meeting rooms Dronningen, Biblioteket, Bankboksen, and Direktørrommet.
The different meeting packages include a variety of unlimited coffee and tea, fruit platters and mini croissants, lunch, and sweet pastries.
For meeting packages that include lunch, you can choose between wraps, focaccia, salad, or lunch at Restaurant Hitchhiker.
You order the meeting packages in advance, and room rental is extra.

Here, you can choose between two different wedding packages that include everything you need for a successful celebration.
Party menus for confirmations, baptisms, and naming ceremonies
We have several venues suitable for confirmations, baptisms, and naming ceremonies.
For these events, you can order cold buffets, small dishes, and stews from SentralenMat.
Table setting, cake setup for cakes brought by guests, coffee, tea, and cold drinks are included.
This is our new buffet concept for the meeting rooms on the 2nd floor
For meeting rooms 200, 201, 202, 203, and 204, you must also order our new meeting room buffet, in addition to the room rental.
Keep your energy up throughout your meeting day with our new buffet concept, which is a mandatory addition to all meeting room bookings on the 2nd floor.
The buffet will be centrally located in the foyer just outside the meeting rooms, offering a varied selection of food throughout your meeting day.
The buffet will be available from 08:00 to 10:00 and from 13:00 to 15:00. Coffee, tea, whole fruit, nuts, and flavored water will be available all day until 18:00.
Also included in the buffet is today's hot lunch, which will be served from 11:00 AM in our restaurant, Hitchhiker. Please allow one hour for lunch.

Do you often rent meeting rooms here at Sentralen? The new meeting room buffet will vary daily. In the morning, it will feature light, savory breakfast items such as bagels, mini quiches, and smoothie shots. After lunch, the buffet will offer sweet pastries, including macarons, cakes, donuts, and buns.
