Where to find Hitchhiker at Sentralen

Hitchhiker is located on the 1st floor by the reception.

The entrance from the reception has step-free access via elevator. In spring and summer, the entrance on the corner of Tollbugata and Øvre Slottsgate is open, offering step-free access from street level.

You can rent Hitchhiker for breakfast meetings and dinners

You can rent Restaurant Hitchhiker for breakfast meetings and seminars between 08:00 and 10:00. During this time, the restaurant is closed to other guests, and food is served from our event menu.

Beyond this, Hitchhiker can be rented for private dinners after 17:00.

Hitchhiker – from Mathallen to Sentralen

Hitchhiker originally opened at Mathallen Vulkan in 2013, and was at the time the country's first restaurant to serve authentic Asian street food.

When Sentralen opened on March 1, 2016, Sentralen Restaurant occupied the corner of the building. After 7 years, Sentralen Restaurant closed, and Hitchhiker took over the space.

Since September 12, 2023, Hitchhiker has lived on at Sentralen!
