Choose a venue to suit the guest list
The size and layout of the venue shape both the tablesetting and the atmosphere of your celebration. Our spaces accommodate everything from intimate family gatherings to larger confirmation parties.
Sentralen is located in the former headquarters of Christiania Sparebank, with historic details and distinctive spaces that offera unique setting for your celebration.
A central location
Sentralen is located between Egertorget and Akershus festining, around an eight-minute walk from Oslo City Hall. This makes it easy to combine a ceremony at City Hall with a celebration at Sentralen.
Metro, tram and train connections, as well as nearby , are all within easy reach.
Food and drinks for your celebration
The meal brings everyone together, with plenty of time for speeches, photos and other special moments.
SentralenMat provides all food and beverage service at Sentralen, with options including buffets, sharing dishes and hearty one-potmeals.
Table settings, soft drinks, coffee, tea and water are included with the menus, and we are happy to accommodate allergies and other dietary requirements.
Family and friends are also welcome to bring cakes for the cake table.

Is it allowed to bring food and drinks to my event or party?
No, it is not allowed to bring food and drinks with you to your event or party. There is an exception for cakes for weddings, graduations etc.
Do you have other tables and chairs than the ones shown in the photos?
No, the tables and chairs shown in the venue photos are the ones available at Sentralen.
Some rooms have different furniture options, which may be available depending on whether the room is in use.
If you need additional tables or chairs, these can be rented from external suppliers and delivered to Sentralen.
Do you provide candlesticks?
No, we donot provide candlesticks for events. Our catering team uses standard white candles in glass holders when setting the table for dinner.
Do you have parking?
No, we don't have parking spaces available at Sentralen.
The nearest parking garages are the Palèet and Bankplassen.
There is no street parking in the streets around Sentralen. Øvre Slottsgate, where the main entrance to Sentralen is located, is a pedestrian street.
What do I do if I have technical questions?
If you have technical questions, you can ask the booking team in the booking process, or the producer in the planning process. You can also read our tech Specs for all venues.
Can guests bring cakes?
Yes, guests can bring cakes. These can be delivered the day before, and will be placed in the fridge.
Howewer: you need to arrange this with your producer beforehand.
Can I drop off equipment or decorations before my event?
Yes, it ispossible to deliver equipment, decorations, or other items before your event,or pick them up afterwards.
This must be arranged in advance with your eventproducer.
Do you decorate the venue, or provide decorations for events?
We do not decorate the venue or provide decorations for your event or party.
You are welcome to bring your own decorations, or book our event hosts to assist with setup and decorating.
Please let us know your needs during the planning process, and we will help you find the right solution.
Can we use candles for our event?
Yes, candles are allowed under controlled conditions. All tenants and organizers are responsible for ensuring that candlelight does not create a fire hazard.
