Kronesalen is a bright and airy room, with its own exit to the roof terrace.
The room has large skylights that provide plenty of daylight, and views up into the sky. Both floors and walls consist of light wood, and light surfaces. Custom-designed light domes, crafted exclusively for Sentralen by Magnor Glassworks, hang from the ceiling.
In Kronesalen there is a separate kitchen, which can also serve as a bar.

Accessibility
Kronesalen
Kronesalen is located on the 5th floor and is wheelchair accessible via lift from the main entrance. From the elevator on the 5th floor you have to go over the roof terrace to get to Kronesalen. Access over the roof terrace is always kept free of obstacles, including snow in winter.
Kronesalen has a nearby HC toilet on the same floor. You have to cross the rooftop terracce to get to it.

The streaming package includes everything you need to stream or record an event, such as panel talks, simple conferences or small performances.
The streaming technician sets up two Panasonic AQ-CX10 4k cameras cameras that will stand in fixed positions.
The audio engineer ensures that there is a high quality of the audio of the streaming.
Lighting technician ensures proper lighting.

We have many venues that are well suited for summer parties. The most popular spaces for summer parties at Sentralen are the Rooftop Terrace and Kronesalen.

What does get-in and get-out mean?
"Get-in" refers to the time you wish to access the venue, including setup, technical testing, etc.
"Get-out" refers to the time by which you must have fully cleared the venue. The event itself must take place between the get-in and get-out times.
Is Sentralen environmentally certified?
Yes, Sentralen is Eco-Lighthouse certified. We work actively with sustainability and environmentally friendly practices in our daily operations.

What ticketing system do you use?
Sentralen uses the Tixly ticketing system.
Can I use an external catering provider when I rent a venue?
No, external catering providers are not permitted when you rent a venue at Sentralen.
All food and drink serviced are provided by SentralenMat, our catering partners.
If you require a specific type of food or service that is not available in our catering menu, we would stil be happy to explore the possibility with you.

Do you have parking?
No, we don't have parking spaces available at Sentralen.
The nearest parking garages are the Palèet and Bankplassen.
Can we use Sentralen's technical equipment, but bring our own technicians?
If you wish to use our technical equipment, our technicians must be present.
If you want to bring in your own technicians in addition, this is possible.
Contact your producer if you want to bring your own technicians.
How does Sentralen promote events?
Event organizers are responsible for actively promoting their own events. This includes creating a Facebook event, adding Sentralen as a co-organizer, and sharing the event through relevant channels. Sentralen also promotes all public events submitted through our programme or ticket form.
Events are published on our website with a dedicated event page, displayed on screens at Sentralen, included in our newsletter, and may be shared through our social media channels and selected external event calendars. All events at Sentralen receive the same level of promotion and are promoted in the same way. Read our audience insight and marketing tips.

What is a hybrid production?
In a hybrid production, you host an event with a live audience in the room while also streaming the event online, allowing remote viewers to participate digitally.
What can the streaming engineer help us with?
Our streaming engineer manages the technical aspects of your stream or recording, including operating the control room, setting up the broadcast platform, and ensuring a smooth production.
They can also assist with planning and production, camera setup, and technical coordination.
Sound is managed by our sound technician, while professional studio lighting is included as standard. Additional lighting setups and a lighting technician can be arranged upon request.
What platforms can the streaming be broadcast on?
The streaming can be broadcast on social media such as Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn, on a website or on YouTube or other video platforms.
If you have another platform you want to stream to, we will arrange it!
Can you provide event recording and streaming services?
Yes, we offer both event recording for content that can be broadcast or shared at a later time, as well as live streaming for events that are shown in real time.
Our streaming technician can help you set up and manage live streams on your social media platforms or website, ensuring a professional streaming experience for your audience.
Can you provide multi-camera production for events?
Yes, we offer professional multi-camera production for events at Sentralen, including live streaming, recording, and hybrid event productions.
Our technical setup includes two fixed cameras and two remotely controlled cameras that can move and capture different angles throughout your event.
Can I hang something on the wall with duct tape?
No, you can only use masking tape when hanging items on the walls at Sentralen. Other types of tape, including duct tape, are not permitted as they may damage the walls.
Can I get my own key card for the room I rented?
No, you will not be given a key card to the venue you have rented. When you arrive: let us know at reception and we will unlock the venue for you.
If you want us to lock the room during the rental period, you can let the host know.

There is no street parking in the streets around Sentralen. Øvre Slottsgate, where the main entrance to Sentralen is located, is a pedestrian street.

No, we donot provide candlesticks for events. Our catering team uses standard white candles in glass holders when setting the table for dinner.
Can we use candles for our event?
Yes, candles are allowed under controlled conditions. All tenants and organizers are responsible for ensuring that candlelight does not create a fire hazard.
Can I rent an extra room?
Yes, it is possible to rent an additional room, such as a meeting room. For example, the room can be used for children who need a nap, storage of gifts, photographers who will edit photos etc.
Can guests bring cakes?
Yes, guests can bring cakes. These can be delivered the day before, and will be placed in the fridge.

No, the tables and chairs shown in the venue photos are the ones available at Sentralen.
Some rooms have different furniture options, which may be available depending on whether the room is in use.

Is it allowed to bring food and drinks to my event or party?
No, it is not allowed to bring food and drinks with you to your event or party. There is an exception for cakes for weddings, graduations etc.

Bankplassen 3: Nasjonalmuseet – Arkitektur is located just around the corner from Sentralen – at Bankplassen 3, 0151 Oslo.
Sentralen provides space for ideas, interaction and good experiences.
Sentralen is a versatile event house in Kvadraturen in central Oslo. The house consists of two buildings that were originally the head office of Christiania Sparebank. On six floors of historic premises, we rent out event rooms, production rooms and meeting rooms for all purposes.
Sentralen is owned by Sparebankstiftelsen DNB. Sentralen will contribute to supporting the Sparebank Foundation's vision to trigger good forces, through events and favourable rental prices for tenants that fit under the purposes of cultural production and social innovation.
