Studio B - Podcaststudio is located on the lower floor, next to Studio A.
It has a fixed setup with tables, chairs and podcast recording equipment.
The two studios have windows between them, with curtains on both sides of the window.
With the help of light balusters on the walls, the room is airy and bright, but there is no natural daylight.
At the top of the stairs from the studio is Salongen. This room can be used for breaks, lunch and as a waiting room.

Tech
Studio B is a professional sound studio with custom acoustics.
You will need to bring your own memory card, a USB cable and a PC or other medium on which you want to record the podcast.

It is possible to hire additional technical equipment, and sound and lighting technicians.
It is possible to perform streaming/recording in the room. Sentralen has its own equipment with four cameras.
It is possible to rent TVs with easy connection via HDMi.
Arrival
Public entrance in Øvre Slottsgate 3, via elevator to the lower floor, or stairs from Vinterhagen.
Accessibility
Studio B is located on the U floor and is accessible by lift from both the main entrance and Akersgata. If you come from the main entrance you need to have a key card, so let us know at the reception in 1+ or call +47 41417930 and we will help you.
Studio B has an HC toilet on the same floor, next to the cloakroom. This toilet also has a changing table.

Can I get my own key card for the room I rented?
No, you will not be given a key card to the venue you have rented. When you arrive: let us know at reception and we will unlock the venue for you. If you want us to lock the room during the rental period, you can let the host know.

Do the staff at Sentralen welcome my guests or audience?
You are responsible for taking care of your guests or your audience. If there are hosts at the reception and they are asked by guests where to go, they will help out. The host also creates posters with information about the location of your event. If you want, you can book dedicated hosting from us, which accommodates your guests.
