Summer in the City 2026
Summer in the City brings concerts, performances, festivals, food experiences, exhibitions, and family activities to Kvadraturen. The program celebrates Oslo and Lillebjørn Nilsen, and is presented in collaboration with SALT, Sentralen, and local partners across the area.

Throughout July, Kvadraturen comes alive with concerts, performances, festivals, football celebrations, food experiences, exhibitions, and activities for the whole family.
Summer in the City is a series of summer events celebrating Oslo and the artist Lillebjørn Nilsen. Sentralen is proud to be part of Summer in the City, a summer programme created in collaboration with SALT and several partners across Kvadraturen.
At Summer in the City, you can enjoy everything from music and theatre to festival experiences, open museums, food events, and welcoming meeting places throughout Kvadraturen.

Summer in the City at Sentralen
At Sentralen, the events presented under Summer at Sentralen are part of the Summer in the City program. Every weekend throughout the summer, we invite children and families to enjoy free activities, workshops, concerts, and performances in Øvre Slottsgate.
