New meeting rooms through our partnership with the National Museum – Architecture
We are collaborating with the National Museum – Architecture.
This means that we at Sentralen can now offer booking, planning and event production in several of the museum’s spaces.
We host more than 4,500 events every year, and we look forward to welcoming even more guests to unique spaces for meetings and experiences.
Rooms and venues available to book at Bankplassen 3: National Museum – Architecture:
- Christian Nordberg-Schulz Hall
- Lilla Hansen Room
- Wenche Selmer Room
- Sverre Fehn Pavilion
The Christian Norberg-Schulz Hall, Lilla Hansen Room and Wenche Selmer Room are available from April 8th 2026.
The Sverre Fehn Pavilion is available from September 1st 2026.
How to book a room
You book through us at Sentralen. We manage the entire process, from enquiry and planning to execution.
The spaces are suitable for everything from meetings, seminars, presentations, lectures, workshops, gatherings, breakfast meetings, courses, launches, weddings, confirmations, parties, naming ceremonies and film screenings.
Catering
Catering at Bankplassen 3: National Museum – Architecture is provided by Magnolia. This makes the event easier to plan, and gives you one point of contact for the venue, content and catering.
The rooms at the National Museum – Architecture
Here is an overview of the spaces available to rent at Bankplassen 3: National Museum – Architecture.
- Christian Nordberg-Schulz Hall: A classic library hall with a warm and bright atmosphere, with the option of blackout curtains. The room is well suited for meetings, presentations and smaller screenings.
- Wenche Selmer Meeting Room: A large and airy meeting room with a clean, elegant expression, plenty of daylight, and views of Akershus Fortress and the pavilion.
- Lilla Hansen Meeting Room: A bright meeting room with distinctive character, originally the director’s office, with views of Akershus Fortress.
- Sverre Fehn Pavilion: A unique hall with abundant daylight, a glass façade and distinctive concrete walls. Available from September 1st 2026.
Bankplassen 3: National Museum – Architecture
The National Museum – Architecture is located at Bankplassen 3, 0151 Oslo.
The museum is close to Akershus Fortress and is easy to reach by public transport. You can get there by tram, bus and metro.
