About the event
Three hilarious actors and an outstanding pianist improvise fantastic theatre performances with help from the audience. The audience contributes suggestions and ideas, directly influencing the story unfolding on stage. The performances often begin with a familiar tale or fairy tale, but the stories tend to take unexpected turns along the way.
This playful collaboration creates brand-new adventures and unforgettable characters. Beloved movie and fairy-tale characters may suddenly find themselves in the most surprising situations. What happens if Little Red Riding Hood marries Luke Skywalker? Who is the better rapper: the Three Little Pigs or the Seven Dwarfs? And what if Spider-Man goes on vacation just as the troll under the bridge decides to head into the city to eat the royal family?
Plutselig Barneteater happens in the moment, together with the audience! Every performance is unique, and no show is ever the same as the one before.

Summer at Sentralen
Every Saturday and Sunday, from Saturday, June 20th to August 16th, 2026, from 11:00 AM - 3:00 PM, the area outside our building in Øvre Slottsgate is transformed into a creative and inclusive gathering place filled with play, exploration, and great experiences.
Every weekend day, we offer free entertainment for children, with varied experiences from different organizers. From concerts and theater to clowns, storytelling, and musical adventures, there will be something new to experience every weekend.
In case of bad weather, the activities will be moved indoors to our premises.
