Performance Art Norway er en kunstnerdrevet forening som jobber for å skape et møtested for billedkunstnere med performative praksiser. Foreningen arbeider kollektivt for å styrke performancekunstfeltet i Norge: kunnskap, formidling, synlighet, rettigheter, arbeidsvilkår og nettverk. Performance Art Norway arrangerer events, festivaler, workshops, seminarer og publikasjoner som fremmer performancekunst.
Vitruvian Man
Performer: Dominique Nachi
The performance is a re-interpretation of Leonardo da Vinci's drawing "Vitruvian Man" in real life. Vitruvian Man is known for metaphysical map of the body, mind, and cosmos in perfect harmony. However, do we all fit in this perfection of the measurement? In the performance, I explore the human form with fabric, circle and square, recreating a new narrative through dance, queer and hybrid identity.
