Rainforest Foundation Norway (Regnskogfondet) and Skeiv Verden warmly invite to a screening of the visually stunning documentary Uýra – The Rising Forest.
Join us on a powerful journey through the heart of the Brazilian Amazon, where Indigenous knowledge, ecology, and queer identity intersect. The film follows Uýra, a trans-Indigenous artist, as they travel through the forest sharing ancestral wisdom and empowering Indigenous youth to stand against environmental destruction and champion diversity in all its forms: sexual, gender, cultural, and ecological.
The event is free and open to all, with seating on a first come, first served basis (limited to 70 seats). Doors open at 16:30, and the screening starts at 17:00. Coffee will be served before the film, and a short 15-minute public discussion will follow.
