GRATIS høstferieaktivitet for barn og unge
Skap tekstilskulpturer med Sampson Addae!
Gi dine gamle klær nytt liv gjennom kunst! Bli med kunstneren Sampson Addae på et praktisk verksted hvor du fletter og former stoff til unike tekstilskulpturer. Ved å bruke personlige klesplagg bidrar du til å lage et kollektivt verk som gjenspeiler individuelle historier og felles kreativitet.
Samarbeid med Sampson med å lage et nytt kunstverk, og lage noe eget å ta med hjem! Denne kollektive prosessen inviterer deltakere fra alle bakgrunner til å knytte kontakt gjennom skaperkunst.
Ta med ett eller to gamle klesplagg, eller bruk gjerne materialene vi tilbyr!

Biografi:
Sampson Addae (f. 1993, Ghana) bor i Oslo. Han har en bachelorgrad i maleri og skulptur fra Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology i Kumasi, Ghana, og fullførte en mastergrad i billedkunst ved Kunsthøgskolen i Oslo (KHiO) i 2024. Han har deltatt i gruppeutstillinger i både Norge og Ghana, blant annet ved Teknisk-naturvitenskapelig Museum i Accra, Østlandstutstillingen, og debuterte på Høstutstillingen, Kunstnernes Hus i 2024.
Formidling og samfunnsbasert arbeid er en integrert del av Addaes kunstneriske praksis, og han har ledet workshops, offentlige samtaler og samarbeidende kunstneriske prosjekter som involverer barn, studenter og et mangfoldig publikum i en rekke institusjonelle kontekster. Han er for tiden studiokunstner ved Kunstnernes Hus gjennom FKDS, et program for nyutdannede fra KHiO, Kunsthøgskolen i Oslo.

Art Workshop: Create Textile Sculptures with Sampson Addae!
Turn your old clothes into art! Join artist Sampson Addae in a hands-on workshop where you'll braid and shape fabric into unique textile sculptures.
Using personal clothing items, you'll help create collaborative pieces that reflect individual stories and shared creativity.
Work alongside Sampson to create a new artwork—and make something of your own to take home!
This collective process invites participants from all backgrounds to connect through making.
Bring one or two pieces of old clothing, or feel free to use the materials we provide!
Biografi
Sampson Addae (b. 1993, Ghana) is based in Oslo. He holds a BA in Painting and Sculpture from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology in Kumasi, Ghana, and completed an MFA in Fine Art at the Oslo National Academy of the Arts (KHiO) in 2024. He has participated in group exhibitions in both Norway and Ghana, including at the Museum of Science and Technology in Accra, Østlandstutstillingen and made his debut at the Autumn Exhibition (Høstutstillingen), Kunstnernes Hus, in 2024.
Mediation and community-based work are an integral part of Addae’s artistic practice, and he has led workshops, public conversations, and collaborative artistic projects involving children, students, and diverse publics in a range of institutional contexts. He is currently a studio artist at Kunstnernes Hus through the FKDS, a residency programme for recent graduates from KhiO, the Oslo National Academy of the Arts.
