Petar B. Andonov is presenting an exploration of the intricate bridge between the music of two seemingly distant in style and epoch composers, namely Joseph Haydn and Maurice Ravel. This "study" will take place in the context of Sonatas by Haydn and Ravel's wondrously evocative constellation of works titled "Mirrors".
The evening will continue with the premiere of the first volume of Andonov's own cycle of compositions titled "Soundscapes" in which the pianist presents his own view on contemporary writing for an instrument the origins of which can be found more than three centuries deep into the past.
The arrangements is suitable for any group.
