Meeting room information

Our meeting rooms are available for booking from 08:00 - 22:00 every day, weekdays as well as weekends. Meeting rooms can be booked by the hour or by day.

Meeting rooms at Sentralen
You have access to the meeting room during the time it is booked. If you need additional time before/after the meeting to prepare/cleanup, please let us know at booking@sentralen.no so that we can extend your booking period. Please note that there is no coffee machine or water dispenser in the meeting rooms, and that you do not have access to a kitchen or similar facility when you book a meeting room. The kitchen in the foyer on the 2nd floor is not a self-service kitchen.This facility is only available to employees at Sentralen, and not for public use.

Self-service and unmanned meeting rooms
Please note that all our meeting rooms are self-service and unmanned, unless you have selected one of our meeting packages. You are responsible for preparing and cleaning up the meeting room before the booking period is over. The meeting room must be left with the standard table set up, and with all equipment intact.

External catering
Catering from external companies is not permitted in our meeting rooms and venues. The meeting room areas are under Sentralen’s liquor license, so bringing in alcohol beverages is not permitted.

Catering
Would you like in-room catering? You can choose among various packages when you book your meeting. Contact booking@sentralen.no if you would like in-room catering at your meeting.

Upon arrival at Sentralen
Go to the reception desk at entrance in Øvre Slottsgate 3. We will register your arrival and give you directions to the meeting room. Our hosts will unlock the meeting room. In general, all doors at Sentralen are locked. Sentralen’s reception desk is open at 08:00 – 16:00. Outside opening hours, you will find a note at the reception desk with the host telephone number: +47 41 41 79 30, whom you call to unlock the door to the meeting room.

Standard table set up
All the meeting rooms have a boardroom setup: long table with chairs. If you rearrange the setup for your meeting, the furniture must be returned to the standard table setup at the end of your booking period. 

Flipchart 
A flipchart with markers is standard in all meeting rooms. If you would like a whiteboard, please contact us.

Wireless Internet
There is free wireless internet throughout the building.

Screen and technical equipment
All meeting rooms are equipped with a 60” TV screen with connection to PC/Mac via HDMI cable. Meeting rooms 201-205 and 301-304, are equipped with high-quality video conferencing equipment with a sound and video board. NB: If you require a connection from HDMI, you will have to bring this yourself. Nor do we provide a wireless clicker/ presenter to PowerPoint presentations.

Office Material
You will find note paper, pens and pencils in the meeting rooms. Anything you need beyond this you must provide for yourself.

Hanging on the walls
If you wish to hang something on the walls, you must use masking tape which you provide for yourself. It is not permitted to hang installations, stick other tape or the like on walls or floors, paint or do carpentry on the premises without an agreement with Sentralen. If this is nevertheless done and results in damage to the building, you will be invoiced the cost in repairing the damage.

The booking office at Sentralen
The booking office at Sentralen is open from 08:00 - 16:00 on weekdays. For booking requests, send an e-mail to booking@sentralen.no or call 22 47 25 00. Inquiries by both e-mail and telephone will be answered on weekdays between 08:00 – 16:00
