Food and drink at Sentralen

How about a coffee on your way to work or lunch with close colleagues? A pre-concert glass of your favourite tipple in a historic setting? Or a cultural evening rounded off with a culinary experience? Sentralen has it all, with everything on hand in the same building!
In addition to housing six fantastic stages and the largest workshop for culture and innovation in Norway, Sentralen serves some of the best food and beverages in the capital. Here you can choose between our own restaurant, a café bar that turns into a night-time pizzeria and pop-up bars that appear when you least expect them.
Cafeteria, bakery and pizzeria
At the corner of Tollbugata and Akersgata, our cafeteria is open from as early as 0730 in the morning. In spacious surroundings with comfortable seating, we serve coffee, sandwiches, salads and pastries of the highest quality.
The café is also a great place to meet up with friends at the beginning of the evening before going on to experience some of our in-house events. Or you can simply sit and enjoy the peace and quiet while writing your next masterpiece.
Enter the area behind the café and you will find yourself beneath the vaulted ceiling of our light and airy Atrium, complete with beer bar. The Atrium is open to all comers at all times and also serves as an excellent location for launches, lectures and concerts.
Look up while ordering a beer at the Atrium bar and you will be able to see straight into the heart of Sentralen, its main kitchen. The bistro has seating for 120 covers distributed among fixed booths, bar tables and small groups.
We serve lunch here from 11 noon until 5pm.
For us, the evening begins at 5pm. The bistro menu is based on seasonal produce and our aim is to be as innovative as possible while focusing on local ingredients. You can choose between many small dishes to complete a meal. We hope that our guests will enjoy spending a few hours with us, being guided in their selection from the menu based on our recommendations.
Moving out into the main entrance hall at Sentralen and up the marble staircase will take you to a cocktail bar with a difference and its own distinctive character compared with the rest of the building. The Gold Bar is open when events are staged in the Directors' Hall.
In the Marble Hall, too, there is a large, well-stocked bar with quality beer, wine and cider on tap as well as a wide selection of alcohol-free drinks to tempt the taste buds.
